Video Premiere: Defend The Rhino - "Sporadic"

Under the moniker “Defend The Rhino,” Edmonton’s Nathaniel Sutton creates expansive soundscapes that draw on human emotion in ways that only the most gifted composers are able. This multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer earned local accolades in 2018 with a nomination for “Instrumental Recording of the Year” at the Edmonton Music Awards.

Today we are pleased to premiere the video for the first single from his forthcoming album which is set for release on June 5th. The album was created from a improvisational session recorded at Royal Studio in Edmonton, AB. He then took the best ideas and built upon them to create eight fully produced cinematic tracks. The improvisational tone of the record inspired the album tile, Wing It.

The video is comprised of time lapse photography and long sweeping pans of Edmonton’s river valley. There’s a focus on the bridges found within this massive chasm that splits this Northern city in two. Enjoy the video below and pre-order Wing It here.
