Video Premiere: I Am The Mountain - "Denigrate"

Calgary band, I Am The Mountain began as the folk project of singer-songwriter Colton O'Reilly. As the band grew, the project morphed into an indie rock sound that features sparkling guitar work, a tight rhythm section, and expertly placed horns.

Today we are pleased to be able to premiere the video for a track they released in late February called “Denigrate.” The press release for the song stated:

“This is a song about not feeling great about the art you are creating, or the life you are living. It's also a reminder that you are actually doing okay! Don't be too hard on yourself, and stop putting yourself down. As long as you are creating, you're alright!”

The video was recorded on location within the Canadian Rocky Mountains at Dead Man's Flats - a hamlet in Alberta within the Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8. It was produced by Brendan Kane (Welcome to the West) and directed by I Am The Mountain’s own, Colton O'Reilly.

Enjoy.
