It’s finally happening!!!!! Everyone’s favourite mad-genius duo, The Faps, are returning with new music!!!

This Saskatoon band have become a favourite of anyone who’s ever seen them live. For the uninitiated, the best way we can describe the music of Blair Colwell and Skyler Cafferata is to call it “noise induced nausea that will make you laugh and recoil in horror at the same time.”

It’s can’t miss TV!

We are very excited to report that a new EP called, New Daft Punk, will be arriving on June 4th through Transistor 66. The release is said to showcase a bizarre expanse of sounds and ideas within 14 quick minutes. The EP features guest appearances from respectfulchild and Brodie Moniker and was engineered by Mike Lefebvre at The Sweat Shoppe in Saskatoon, SK.

Today we are very excited to be premiering the first single, a song called “BONEZ.” When we asked Colwell about the song, he revealed:

“BONEZ it is likely our most annoying song to date. One friend once said ‘it’s like you’re mocking me for liking your band’. We’ve been playing this one for years, it’s always the set closer with people taking the sticks or a guitar while we devolve into total chaos.”

And as for the video:

“We decided to just put together a video depicting what we’ve been doing 2020-present. Seemed like we had a ton of stuff planned, places to go, things to do and see and instead ended up seeing the kitchen sink and pool table in the garage so we just went with that mundane energy to contrast our strangest song. I think it worked out well. The video was filmed by us and edited by Jane McWhirter.”
