Premiere: Nathaniel Sutton - Animals

Nathaniel Sutton is a singer/songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta who has been honing his recording and production chops the past few years with an ambient/post-rock project called Defend The Rhino. Today we are excited to see another dimension to Sutton’s work with the release of “Animals,” a folk-based indie rock track about the end of his eleven year marriage.

Finding comfort in writing music while dealing with his separation, Sutton penned this quiet piano based track with extremely personal lyrics like “I won’t come back for you when I wake up”.

Today the Cups N Cakes Network is excited to premiere “Animals” in the form of a video shot by Daryl Payne. Enjoy.
