Premiere: THE STEVES - TO THE BAND//TEXAS

The Cups N Cakes Network is proud to premiere a double-single release from Regina, SK based rock band THE STEVES. “TO THE BAND” and “TEXAS” are the first two songs to drop from their upcoming EP To the Band, which comes out on March 23rd, with the first two singles available on all streaming services on March 1st.

Since 2015 THE STEVES have toured across Canada and have put out a handful of singles and two EPs, 2015’s No Solos and 2017’s Weak Man. Their third EP, To the Band, was recorded and mixed in various Regina character homes by drummer Paula Bogdan between 2019 and 2022 and was mastered by Juno-nominated producer/engineer Orion Paradis at SoulSound Studio.

To the Band is their longest release to date (16 minutes) and focuses on much of the quintessence of living in Canada’s largest small town—waiting in line at the overhyped ice cream shop (to prove a point), being snubbed by a friend (of a friend of a friend who only met you once), and having your friends move away to the big city (Saskatoon).
