Single Premiere: "Razzle Dazzle" - Tebby & the Heavy
The Cups N Cakes Network is excited to be premiering the second single from Tebby & the Heavy’s forthcoming album Heavy Afternoon, set to be released in the summer of 2025. Fresh off of a performance at Calgary’s Bob-Sled festival this past weekend, the band is dropping “Razzle Dazzle”, a slow-burn, reverb soaked number with a hypnotic melody that lowers you into a trance before violently jolting you awake in the instrumental outro.
“Razzle Dazzle” dives into the emotional journey recognizing when one is being deceived of a partner's intentions in a relationship. The lyrics explore the moment of realization that inspires listeners to set their own boundaries and take charge of their circumstances. While Edmonton audiences are familiar with the band’s eclectic sound, with elements of shoegaze, psychedelia, surf, and grunge all making an appearance, the run of singles in the lead up to the full album are set to take Tebby & the Heavy beyond the frozen wasteland of Alberta’s capital, and introduce their sound to a wider Canadian audience.
