Video Premiere: The Sylvia Platters - Blue Juniper (Live at Malibu Sound)

Fresh off the release of their single "Norman 4" in November, The Sylvia Platters return with a live-in-studio performance video of "Blue Juniper" -- a standout track from their 2022 EP Youth Without Virtue.

The video, captured live at Malibu Sound Studios in Burnaby, BC by producer Kyle Schick and directors Daniel Sparrow and Brendan Taylor (Zone Pictures), captures the band's energetic dynamic and brotherly harmonies of vocalist Tim and Nick Ubels. Its analog tone conveys a nostalgic warmth undercut by the song's story of a doomed childhood friendship.

The video is the first release from an EP of live recordings available this Spring.
