Now, I can’t say much about the lyricism because I don’t speak Russian, but Something More In Russian has the fast overdriven guitar, the relentless drums, and the aggressive vocal style. Its punk rock, and what more could you ask from such a badass genre?
Death Party Playground – The Good Years
Influenced by the early career of Bruce Willis and the contractors who lost their lives working on the second death star, Waterloo’s Death Party Playground presents The Good Years, an album with an alt-rock sound with an underlying selection of keys, including the beautiful riffs of an organ in the second track, “Make it Home”.
Swimming – That’s OK
From the east coast in the city of St. John’s are rock band Swimming and their nine track album That’s OK takes the juvenile, melodic vocals of emo and incorporates it with the complex, softer sound of math rock. That’s OK is a combination of the hearts and the smarts wrapped in a package of raw emotion.
