Motherhood, Blume, Ranger, and Lil_Babeee_4EVA
Motherhood - Dry Heave
Fredericton’s very own Motherhood continues to be busy! While on their US tour, they released their new single, Dry Heave. But oh no, they don’t quit there! On May 30, they released a second single, Wandering. And, if you act now, you may be lucky enough to catch them on a stage in eastern Canada in the next couple of months!
Blume - Inner Vision
Inner Vision IS a psychedelic rock redux! The tracks within each song exist beautifully together. Every instrument and sound cut through. At times, Inner Vision constructs a trance like state of being, and at others, produces a psychedelic jam which builds momentum and strength within itself. Inner Vision, as a whole, contains familiar continuity which can be mistaken for repetition.
Ranger - S/T
If the past week smacked you upside your life, let Ranger’s self titled EP be your ice pack. Ranger is brimming with positive honest lyrics, and dazzling soulful guitar. At a price point of five dollars on Bandcamp, it's cheaper than a bottle of your favourite ibuprofen.
Lil_Babeee_4EVA - Comfier
Vancouver based artist, Maarten Bayliss, continues to ignore boundaries with his new project Lil_Babeee_4EVA. Freedom is his destination, and his limitation is his very imagination. Comfier at its very nature is unhindered creativity. You can close your eyes and drift through the soundscapes, always discovering new elements and depths.
