Premiere: tonk - Thanks for Waiting

We are pleased today to host the exclusive premiere for Vancouver country quartet tonk’s sophomore record Thanks for Waiting. The album is the follow-up to their fabulously named 2020 record Songs to Glorify the Peasant and his Tractor, and promises more of the band’s trademark West coast country.

The album will be out on Friday, May 12th, 2023, and follows the release of their debut single “Down in the Bar Room”, and the music video that goes with it. The song is a great introduction to tonk’s blend of indie-rock guitar and vocal tones, with classic country hooks and lyricism.
