Garbageman, homeshake, Sam Singer, and The Ruddy Ruckus

Garbageman – Tales from the Landfill

Whitehorse’s Garbageman is a project dedicated to those responsible for cleaning up the waste that humans have created. His newest album, Tales from the Landfill, takes an approach in calm chaos; with mellow down tempo songs with an underlying unpredictability that leaves the listener enthralled and on the edge of their seat.

homeshake – Under The Weather

Peter Sagar is a musician from Toronto, and his newest album under the homeshake moniker, Under The Weather, is a moody set of 12 songs that were created from the inspiration of a long period of sadness. The songs in Under The Weather carry a hazy tone, inadvertently urging the listener to heed these stories as a comforting embrace in their own dark pit.

Sam Singer – North End Jerusalem

Winnipeg-based musician Sam Singer is armed with a synthesizer, reverberated vocals, and a multi-track recorder. He utilizes this manual recording method to create an immersive and visceral listening experience in his newest single North End Jerusalem, with both sides displaying a blend of still life SFX – such as rain and a city street -  and melodic, dreamlike composition.

The Ruddy Ruckus – Wentworth And Main

From Hamilton, Ontario is rock n’ roll band The Ruddy Ruckus, and their newest album Wentworth And Main is chalk full of their Celtic-punk-esque style of rock, blending punk, classic rock, and a taste of folk into an album of 12 catchy, heartfelt tracks reminiscent of alternative rock of the 2000’s.
